PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Benone Beach
The site is located at the entrance to the rear of the “Ark” Building at the entrance to Benone Beach. The site is within sand dunes and site adjacent to a public boardwalk leading from the Benone Tourist Complex and the main public road which national speed limit is 60mph.
The works consists of a new single storey store building to facilitate the storage of beach access equipment for special needs group and new ramp access
Castlerock, Whiterocks, Runkerry and Ballycastle Beaches
The sites are located at the 4 individual beach locations
The works are to enhance the existing network of pedestrian access ways to the beaches.
The works consist of the following:
- Site set-up (incl. compound enclosure).
- Excavation work.
- Regulation of sand material and making good of works area.
- New timber boardwalks
- New gravel finish to existing sand tracks
- New pot and rope fencing
- Timber viewing area
- Benching and site signage
